Dear Mark and Tony,

I came to Campaign because students told me I must. They were right. It is riveting stuff - absolutely fascinating - and the only political cameo of its kind that I know in New Zealand's film history. That the candidates co-operated as they did speaks well of them and privileges the viewer/citizen with an inside view of the intricacies of our democracy. I think the film is a classic of its kind and will remain a treasure in our collective historical archive.
